Gordon Emil Langer (Gord)

September 26, 1952 – December 8, 2025

With deep sadness and loving remembrance, the family of Gordon Langer announces his peaceful passing on December 8, 2025 at the age of 73 after living with heart problems for more than 25 years. 

Gord was raised on the family farm at Evansburg and had the opportunity to raise his family there as well which was very meaningful to him.  As his health declined, he had the best of both worlds spending his summers on the farm and winters in the Lodge in Evansburg.  He had an impact on everyone whose lifepath crossed with his and he will be remembered for his easy-going, laid-back character, his witticisms, his laughter and his expressions that often came with no filter.

Gord will be remembered and sadly missed by his son, Gregg, his son-in-law, Scott Lawrence, his sisters, Elaine (Wayne) Deines and Marlene (Les) Bossert, his nieces and nephews, cousins and many, many friends.  He was pre-deceased by his daughter, Jenna, his ex-wife, Marion, and his parents, Emil and Audrey Langer. 

A Celebration of Life will take place at a future date yet to be determined.
