William Chorkwa

The family of William (Bill) Chorkwa is saddened to announce his passing on November 10, 2025 at the age of 84 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years; Bea, and their children; Steve (Fran) Chorkwa and Tanya Yakimitz, and grandchildren; Montana, Bryce and Blake. Bill is also survived by his brother, Peter Chorkwa and sister, Lucy Zinyk and many nieces and nephews.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Mary Chorkwa, as well as his sister, Stephanie Kupiak.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Park Court Hall, (7220 Twp Rd 550, Evansburg, AB)

Interment to follow at the Slovanic Cemetery, Rangeton with a light lunch back at the hall.
